NOF
Horizon Works is a member of NOF, an organisation focused on helping its members make valuable connections across the global energy sector including offshore wind, oil and gas, nuclear, carbon capture and storage (CCS) and hydrogen. NOF works on behalf of its members and network of partners to put companies of all sizes in touch with the best and most innovative supply chain businesses in the UK. Supporting NOF allows us to gain valuable insights into the energy landscape and network with key players across the energy sector – you will regularly see our team at NOF events.
Make UK Defence
Horizon Works is a Member of Make UK Defence, a not-for-profit organisation which champions and celebrates the UK’s defence and security industry, represents the sector’s interests to Government and supports the UK’s innovative defence manufacturers and the wider defence supply chain. Horizon Works is a Partner in Make UK Defence’s Fit for Defence programme, which brings together experts from across the UK to provide advice and services to members to aid them in areas such as strategy, productivity, marketing and cyber security.
EMN
As Affiliate Partner of the Engineering and Manufacturing Network (EMN), we provide regular advice to EMN members on B2B marketing trends and facilitate regular Engineering and Manufacturing Marketers’ Meet-up events onsite at some of the leading manufacturing and engineering companies in the North East. EMN is positioned at the heart of the North East’s engineering and manufacturing industry, offering companies expert support, including that of Horizon Works, and access to the assistance they need to realise their full potential. We also support EMN with the promotion of its EMCON engineering and manufacturing showcase and its EMConf events.
NEAA
We are a founding member of the North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA), an industry-led automotive cluster which was established to support the sustainable growth and competitiveness of the sector in North East England. The NEAA is the largest automotive cluster in the UK and one of the fastest-growing clusters across Europe. As well as being active member, we support the NEAA in delivering marketing workshops to support businesses who wish to either grow their presence in or launch into the automotive sector. We have also supported the NEAA with creative services, for instance by designing assets to support its 10th anniversary campaign.
Make UK
Make UK champions and celebrates British manufacturing and manufacturers. Britain is one of the world’s biggest manufacturing nations: almost 3 million people work in the sector and deliver almost half of all UK exports. Member companies drive over 60 percent of all UK research and development. As a result of that investment, manufacturing as we know it is changing, adapting, and transforming every day – which is why being a member allows us to keep abreast of these key changes and gain real time insight into the manufacturing landscape.
Entrepreneurs' Forum
Our founder and managing director Samantha Vassallo, is a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum, a network focussed on inspiring and supporting business owners across the North East region. It provides a range of support to its members, such as mentoring, leadership training and knowledge sharing, which Horizon Works has tapped into. Our MD regularly attends its networking events, round tables dinners and conferences.
