Expansion with two new appointments
Full service strategic marketing company Horizon Works has made two appointments following a recent major growth drive.
Antonia Edwards, joins the team as client marketing manager within the Marketing and PR division, while Camilla Bailey has been appointed as marketing executive, working across the team on marketing, PR and digital projects.
Horizon Works has seen a period of rapid growth over the last six months, securing a number of new clients across sectors such as automotive, professional services, manufacturing and healthcare.
2016 has seen Horizon Works partner with The Advanced Manufacturing Forum, the largest manufacturing forum in the North East, to undertake their marketing and PR activities as well as launch their Marketing Club.
In addition, the company has delivered marketing services to new client DigitalCity, a Tees Valley initiative to digitise the regions businesses, and has been appointed to supply a range of marketing services for both Dontyne Gears, which specialises in the testing and prototyping of gears, and First for Money, a non-profit organisation operating in Tyne and Wear and beyond.
Antonia, from Northumberland, has extensive experience of working within media relations and will be responsible for supporting the company’s regional and national clients in the delivery of their PR and marketing strategies.
A Communications and PR graduate, Antonia spent several years working in media relation positions for organisations including Balfour Beatty, Homes for Northumberland, and Pharma Nord.
Her experience has included working on B2B and B2C campaigns within construction, infrastructure development, healthcare, local authorities and digital sectors.
Antonia said: “Horizon Works is renowned for delivering high-quality strategic marketing to its clients and I am excited to be joining such a dynamic organisation.

Camilla, from Norwich, joins Horizon Works having recently graduated from Newcastle University with an MSc in International Marketing. As a Marketing Executive, Camilla will be responsible for the delivery of Horizon Works marketing plan as well client marketing campaigns.
Speaking about her recent appointment, Camilla explained: “As a Graduate, the opportunity to join Horizon Works, a company that encourages initiative and ambition, was highly attractive to me. This role offers the perfect opportunity for me to take on responsibility and learn across all aspects of the marketing mix.”
Horizon Works was founded by managing director Samantha Davidson in 2010. It specialises in business to business marketing for organisations working in manufacturing and engineering, healthcare and life sciences, technology and innovation, professional services and the public sector.
