Horizonworks expands with new appointment
Newcastle-based marketing agency Horizonworks has appointed a new client marketing executive as part of its on-going growth strategy.
Amel Assim, a graduate from Northumbria University has joined the firm following a number of high profile client wins across the manufacturing, engineering, healthcare and technology sectors.
In her new role, Amel will be responsible for supporting Horizonworks’ clients in the delivery of their PR and marketing strategies.
Prior to joining Horizonworks, Amel has held various marketing roles with organisations such as The British Council, Nexity and Explain, and her skills lie in market research as well as being fluent in both French and Arabic.
Horizonworks has experienced rapid growth in 2017, welcoming clients such as: Cellular Solutions, a leading integrated communications company; The Expanded Metal Company, an expanded metal mesh manufacturer; Building Surveyors, a team of commercial and residential building surveying specialists; Arcinova, a contract research and development company to the pharmaceutical sector; and Newcastle Premier Health, a leading provider of medical services.
2017 has also seen Horizonworks co-host several Marketing Clubs as the strategic marketing partner of The Advanced Manufacturing Forum (AMF), the largest manufacturing forum in the North East. Samantha Davidson, managing director at Horizonworks, was also appointed to the AMF board earlier this year.
