NECS

Background

Established in 2006 and headquartered in Cramlington, North East of England, NECS is a nationwide provider of commercial cleaning, office cleaning, facilities management, and specialist cleaning services.

Approach

At the time of its launch, NECS provided commercial cleaning services to retail and leisure businesses in the North East of England. Over the years the company expanded both its geographical scope and market focus, now operating nationwide across a breadth of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, construction, education, and retail. In line with its fifteenth anniversary, the company approached Horizon Works to refresh its brand and website to better reflect its offer and extensive capabilities. In addition, NECS required a marketing strategy to support it in its next phase of growth.

Solution

  • An informed marketing strategy and plan which support the company’s objectives of increased lead generation, and growth through upselling and market diversification.
  • A refreshed brand and visual style.
  • A new website, harnessing the new messaging and brand, geared towards user experience and data capture.

Results

  • A revitalised brand, including the addition of a strapline to clarify the business proposition.
  • Defined key messaging for each target market, which clearly and concisely articulate the company’s USPs, offering, and sector expertise.
  • A defined and research-driven marketing approach and 12-month plan with a focus on raising the company’s profile in key target markets and customer engagement.
  • A streamlined website user journey, leading to increased inbound enquiries.
