Headquartered in Gateshead, UK, Palintest is an international leader in water analysis technology, with an established market presence in Europe, North America and Australia.
Established in the UK in 1989, but with a history dating back to the 1800s, Palintest has pioneered techniques and technology used in water management, the recreational water sector, the food and beverage industry and humanitarian aid.
The company is named after Dr Palin, who in the 1950s pioneered the use of DPD for field analysis of free and total chlorine – making water analysis accessible to all.
Palintest’s technologies are manufactured in the UK and are used globally to protect lives and the environment.
Palintest has served the recreational water sector for decades. Its products – including photometers and test strips – are supplied worldwide to leisure companies, pool and spa operators, municipal authorities, maintenance companies, and pool and spa shops.
As part of its strategy, Palintest wanted to grow its market share further: it launched a sales and marketing campaign to attract new customers, and strengthen its presence in the recreational water sector.
To support the campaign, Palintest commissioned us to create an animation which showed a day in the life of a pool technician, to demonstrate the use of its technology, and its effectiveness when used in recreational water environments.
