The Engineering and Manufacturing Convention (EMCON)
Engineering and Manufacturing Convention (EMCON)
Thursday 18 October
Xcel Centre, Newton Aycliffe
Formerly known as Oktoberfest, the Engineering and Manufacturing Convention (EMCON) is an annual exhibition delivered by the County Durham Engineering and Manufacturing Network at the Xcel Centre in Newton Aycliffe. The event aims to showcase the very best of engineering and manufacturing in the North East and beyond.
Every year the convention attracts over 1000 visitors and 100 exhibitors. As a result, the event is brimming with new and cutting-edge technologies. The North East is full of great manufacturing and engineering organisations and this is a key event to bring them all together from the North East region and beyond. This is a true networking opportunity to connect with other experts within the industry and share best practice.
Horizon Works continue to annually attend this event. As we specialise in working with innovators in complex industries, EMCON provides us with the perfect opportunity to speak and network with these key innovators and discuss in particular their marketing strategies. The engineering and manufacturing sector is a key industry that exemplifies innovation as it is a one that is consistently affected by growing technologies and trends.
This year’s event will be held on the 18th October 2018 at the Xcel Centre, Newton Aycliffe. Make sure you stop by and see us!
