We have further embedded our presence in the energy sector, thanks to a new sponsorship agreement with NOF.

We’re delighted to announce that we have become a corporate sponsor of NOF, the UK business development organisation which helps to make connections between businesses in the global energy sector.

Through the sponsorship agreement, we’ll be increasing our engagement with NOF and its membership community, and we’ll also be sponsoring the Offshore Wind North East (OWNE) Conference and Exhibition on November 9 and 10, 2022, and the event’s associated networking dinner.

We have a long track record of working in the energy sector, and support organisations operating across renewables and oil and gas.

Horizon Works recently supported economic regeneration company Advance Northumberland with a PR campaign to promote the Northumberland Energy Park development site in Blyth.

The company has also provided marketing content for Energy Central, a partnership between Advance Northumberland, Port of Blyth, Northumberland County Council and the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult, which is a deep water base for businesses working across renewable energy, offshore wind, subsea engineering, decommissioning, battery manufacturing and energy storage.

Horizon Works also supports a number of companies which work across the energy sector, including Middlesbrough-based hydraulic engineering specialist Industrial and Marine Hydraulics, Atlas Copco Rental UK, a leading provider of temporary compressed air, power, industrial steam and nitrogen and 3t Transform, a workforce development software and learning technologies provider, which is part of 3t Energy Group.

NOF has an extensive membership across the energy sector. It supports companies with business development, facilitates industry introductions and runs a wide-ranging events programme.

NOF also hosts the Offshore Wind Projects Database, which provides members with access to critical projects data, an insight into key offshore wind sector players, and information on forecasted market and supply chain spend.

Joanne Leng MBE, chief executive of NOF, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Horizon Works as our latest corporate sponsor and support further embedding the company into our network and the energy industry.  The UK supply chain is highly diverse, which includes, alongside engineering and technology-led companies, businesses that provide integral professionals services, such as Horizon Works, which are key in helping our members secure new work in domestic and international markets.”

Samantha Vassallo, managing director of Horizon Works, said: “We’re very excited to be taking our involvement with NOF to the next level as a corporate sponsor. NOF is at the forefront of the UK’s energy sector and is leading the way in helping businesses connect, collaborate and innovate, as the energy landscape evolves at a rapid rate.

“Thanks to events such as OWNE, we have seen at first hand the difference NOF can make to businesses, and the depth of knowledge and expertise within its membership. We’re greatly looking forward to working with Joanne and the team as we move forward and to further strengthening our relationship with NOF and its members through this sponsorship.”

Horizon Works has been embedded into the energy, manufacturing, engineering, tech and life sciences sectors since the company’s inception in 2010.

The company, which provides marketing services to regional, national and global organisations, specialises in grasping complex technologies, products and services and translating this information into compelling messages and campaigns.

Horizon Works’ supports clients including: Koch Technology Solutions, part of the global Koch Engineered Solutions organisation; Hartlepool-based metal mesh manufacturer The Expanded Metal Company; water analysis technologies provider Palintest: automotive components manufacturer Gestamp; bespoke packaging solutions provider Taylor Packaging; and Gateshead-headquartered metal decorating and coating solutions provider Crabtree.
