New funding announced for marketing support

If you are an SME based in the North of Tyne Combined Authority area, you can now access new funding support for these activities…
The new North of Tyne Business Support Fund has been designed to drive economic growth by helping businesses to access external expertise to implement business growth and improvement plans. It covers up to 50% of eligible business spend and grants are available to support projects costing between £3,000 and £8,000 (excluding VAT).
The North of Tyne Business Support Fund is part-funded by the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund through the North of Tyne Combined Authority and is now administered by the North East Combined Authority.
It can fund a number of activities, including marketing strategy, website design and development, video and animation and social media, that Horizon Works can deliver – and has extensive experience in.

Grant sprint
The Open North Foundation has announced a Grant Sprint to help small business owners in the North East with their new development or employment opportunities.
Grants from £2,000 to £10,000 are available, with both consultancy and website development projects within the scope of eligibility.
The application process will be available until 31st July 2024 and social enterprises, micro-businesses and SMEs from across the North East are being encouraged to apply. A decision on all of the applications will be made by 16th August 2024.
