Horizon Works is a long standing supporter of the North East Automotive Alliance and over the years, we’ve delivered member workshops, supported the team with promoting the NEAA’s annual awards, and lent our marketing expertise to NEAA-led industry initiatives, such as the IPAM-ST campaign, a project aimed at attracting more people into advanced manufacturing.
Following our work on last year’s 10th anniversary campaign and 2024’s expo, we were once again commissioned by the NEAA to bring this year’s flagship event to life.
And our work was on show as the North East Automotive Expo took place at the Beacon of Light in Sunderland on November 25.
From shaping a new expo logo and visual style to producing social media assets and animations, from delivering a comprehensive expo guide to designing a huge wall graphic, we brought our creative capabilities to bear for this automotive centrepiece.

Commenting on our work, Laura Gage, NEAA Marketing and PR Manager, said: “It’s been a pleasure working with the Horizon Works team on the brand refresh for the North East Automotive Expo 2025. As we celebrated the tenth year of the event, we wanted a visual identity that marked the milestone with impact and reflected the dynamic nature of the automotive industry.
“The updated styling has been very well received, with many positive comments from attendees. It looked fantastic throughout the venue – especially the striking 11-metre automotive dashboard graphic, which showcased key facts and figures from across the North East sector.”

Samantha Vassallo, Managing Director of Horizon Works, added: “We were proud to be part of the North East Automotive Expo again this year, and to use our creative skills to help the NEAA to promote the event and make a striking visual impact at The Beacon Of Light.
“As a company embedded into the engineering and manufacturing sector, it’s exciting to contribute to an event which demonstrates the strength of North East England’s automotive cluster, and highlights the pioneering work being undertaken in this region around electrification, autonomous logistics, robotics and vehicle technology.”
