Expo showcases North East’s automotive industry

The Horizon Works team joined more than 700 delegates and 110 exhibitors last month at The North East Automotive Expo 2023 in Sunderland.
Organised by the North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA), the event brought OEMs and companies from the automotive supply chain together at the Beacon Of Light.
Horizon Works has supported the event since its inception in 2015 and we were proud to have sponsored the expo guide again this year.
Our exhibition stand drew plenty of interest from delegates, who wanted to chat about their marketing challenges – and enter our prize draw for a Lego Technic Audi RS Q e-tron car!
Horizon Works has been a member of the NEAA since the organisation was launched in 2015 and we have delivered joint marketing workshops for its members on subjects such as event preparation, marketing strategy and tactics.
We also worked with the NEAA to deliver the Supply Chain North East (SCNE) Back to Business Basics Marketing for Automotive Programme, which was designed to help companies successfully promote, sell and distribute a product or service in the automotive sector. Our team worked with three programme cohorts and we helped more than 25 innovative North East companies to shape and improve their marketing activities.

“It was exciting to see such a rich variety of businesses exhibiting at the Beacon of Light – from robotics specialists and fabricators to software providers and advanced engineering companies – which is testimony to the importance of the expo for North East England.
“Our team enjoyed catching up with clients, partners and friends old and new, and made valuable new connections. We certainly never stopped chatting!

The NEAA have announced that 2024’s North East Automotive Expo will be held on September 24 next year.
