Seta felt that its brand and marketing presence was outdated, and didn’t fully portray its status as an established training provider for major companies including National Oilwell Varco, Rolls Royce, Grundfos and Nissan. The project was to develop a new brand and visual style for the organisation, as well as a new website and marketing material. Following this, to develop a marketing plan and deliver as their outsourced marketing team – providing invaluable marketing support to the business development team.
We created a fresh new brand for Seta using the strapline ‘shaping workforces, engineering the future’ which was designed to appeal to prospective apprentices, employers and sole traders, and was informed by key messages we developed with the organisation. This was then used as the basis for Seta’s website (www.seta.co.uk), which prominently featured striking photography of and testimonials from employers, apprentices and former apprentices, helping to illustrate the benefits of training with Seta to both businesses and potential apprentices.
We also developed an online apprenticeships application system, and the website features case studies, comprehensive course information, news and downloadable content. Additional activities have included the creation of a brochure, flyers, banner stands and stationery.
Horizonworks has been working with Seta since 2014 delivering its long term marketing strategy, with activities including public relations campaigns engaging with both regional and trade press, social media campaigns and digital marketing.
